The Project - Tenonde Porã
- Across four states: Amazonas, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, and Pará.
- More than 20 indigenous ethnic groups (attending more than 4.000 indigenous).
- All territories are defined by Presidential decree and registered in specific land registry office in each respective territory city.
- Pilot project under development, to be accomplished in early 2025, we will be already offering to the market about 15-25 million VCUs (Verified Carbon Units - VERRA Certified) with a minimum commitment of 25 years.
- Total generation forecast for the current 10M hectares: +100M VCUs to the voluntary market.
- Commitment to legality and respect for indigenous rights
- We rigorously following the legal procedures established in the Pact of San Jose, Costa Rica.
- all guidelines from relevant Brazilian authorities, including FUNAI and the Federal Public Ministry.
